Your thoughts are not facts — they’re mental events. Some are helpful. Many are not.

Practice this:

  • “I’m having the thought that…”
  • “That’s just a story my brain is telling right now.”
  • “Let it float by like a leaf on a stream.”

Create distance. Step into the observer role.
