What it is

  • Thoughts
  • Emotions

Why it matters

Understanding this connection helps you intervene where you can — usually with thoughts or behaviors — and shift the whole system.

Use it like this

When something upsetting happens, pause and ask:

  1. What did I think?
  2. What did I feel?
  3. What did I notice in my body?
  4. What did I do?

Mapping it out gives clarity and choice.
